I've always wondered about this.....
Why do people want everything in one place for shopping, or information, but when it comes to holiday maps they want super local, aka map segmentation.... it makes no sense, why would only want a map for a small community when perhaps just across the city line, there may be other great displays to see too. For example in one area there are 3 maps that are less than 20-30 square miles of area.... would that not make more sense to be 1 map, instead of 3? They are only 3 because it's 3 different small towns.
I don't want to have to look at 3 different places for a grocery store ad, just because the chain has 3 locations in my region....
This is why we compile our map as far and wide as possible so people can find displays close to them, regardless of the municipality a display is legally in. We do hope you enjoy our hard work on this.
We would love to work with any of these map segmentators to save them the work as we have built this system up for the past 15 years and have it down to a science and a working system, for most.
