As someone that has been producing holiday display lists and maps for 15 years now this season, it is frustrating to us that getting media coverage of what we do is so difficult, especially when I seen the copycats, some of which early on plagiarized our map and listings getting more coverage in more outlets.
On our own research most of these copycats dont take the time to fully confirm EVERY DISPLAY, Every year.... We do, and will continue to do so.
One is touting 500k views on their map (yes, but full disclosure that is cumulative over the life of the map which is recycled with the same information each year, and they are not saying that detail). Our map will get 300-500k views EACH Season. In fact had nearly 15k views just in the past couple of days.
Lets hope we can still get some media coverage before the end of the season.
